We live in Bristol Vermont, a small town nestled at the foot of beautiful Mount Abraham. I have a studio in my home in Bristol. My first memory of being an artist was seeing my mother paint at our kitchen table while we kids chased each other around.....I was exposed to painting at a very early age. My inspiration comes from life. It manifests as it comes out. I just have to remember step out of the way and find my way as I paint. .I explore the themes of nature and animals, melding realism with abstract design elements to create my paintings. I aim to highlight the intricate relationships within the natural world and evoke a sense of connection that is often lost in modern life. Through my art, I invite viewers to deepen their understanding and appreciation of nature, fostering a renewed connection with the animal world, our environment, and ourselves.
I love to paint with acrylics and oils. The buttery feel of the paint going on a board or Arches paper made for oils is exciting, I take my time developing my palette colors and then I go for it! Flip Book
